Born from the meeting between Gianni Maroccolo and Ivana Gatti
IG is a project where experimentation and feminine music author magically melt each-other with naturalness, elegance and absolute sincerity, twisting Maroccolo's electronic-rock ambient music with Ivana's intimate universe.
And not only ...
IG is a work in progress, where music is lived at 360 degrees, with no limits or boundaries...
A real life experience and at the same time a brave artistic project.
In October 2005 was released on-line only the first Ep titled "Resta" followed by a mini-tour.
In April 2006 was released (only distributed on-line) the second Ep titled " Il linguaggio delle murene" followed by a short autumn tour in Italy, Belgium and Luxembourg.
In May 2007 came out the IG first work titled "Bastian Contrario", available in all shops and digital platforms, distributed by Ala Bianca/Warner. A precious box including 11 unreleased tracks, 2 bonus tracks remixed by Riccardo Tesio ( Marlene Kuntz ), Lorenzo "Jova" Cherubini and 12 art-videos in dvd format created by contemporary video artists Fabio Massimo Iaquone and Luca Attilii.
